We are seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing to take charge of all marketing initiatives, including social media, digital campaigns, advertising, and creative projects.
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating strategic plans to establish and enhance our brand presence, allocating resources to different projects, and setting both short-term and long-term goals for the department.
We are looking for a talented marketing strategist who can inspire team members and drive success. In this role, you will lead our Marketing department to maximize profitability and enhance competitiveness in the market.
what you’ll be doing
- Overseeing all areas of the marketing department.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
- Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
- Analyse consumer behaviour and determine customer personas
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
- Coordinate marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
- Providing support and development opportunities to the marketing team. Increasing their knowledge and sharing best practices.
- Giving advice and direction where needed on work priorities, budgets, and resources.
- Providing strong leadership to the team and demonstrating the company’s values and leadership behaviour framework.
- Advising on the development of the corporate brand.
- Designing the marketing strategy to drive the business forward.
- Analysing key marketing performance metrics and using tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to formulate actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Formulating unique insights to understand the customer from a marketing perspective.
- Using marketing insights to contribute towards the overall business strategy.
- Overseeing the marketing strategies, product concepts and promotional programmes that drive interest and sales.
- Identifying new revenue opportunities and providing actionable plans to the marketing and sales teams, ensuring the continuous improvement of the company’s marketing efforts.
- Taking responsibility for ensuring the organisation complies with current marketing and copyright regulations as well as accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation.
what you’ll need
- Preferred but not essential – bachelor’s degree in marketing or a Business Management related subject
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing role
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role
- Work experience as Head of Marketing or VP Marketing with Event Agency/Event Production Agency experience
- Experience running successful marketing campaigns
- Solid knowledge of web analytics
- Experience with CRM software
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
- Analytical mind
- BSc or MSc in Marketing or relevant field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive and approachable manner.
- Excellent presentation skills.

The ability to travel (both nationally and internationally)—therefore you’ll need an up-to-date passport. Due to international clients, some flexibility and evening work is expected, however, we will always provide notice of this.
