Having always held their annual investors day in person, usually at a hotel venue, TCI wanted the opportunity to take their event global. They wanted to maintain high engagement levels whilst still being able to present their portfolio, including key facts and figures, professionally.
In order to achieve their global ambitions, we took the event virtual, utilising their office space in Mayfair as the hub for recording the studio broadcast. Taking the event virtual enabled remote parties to join the conversation and whereas with live events, people are used to speakers presenting from stage, this time they got to present from the comfort of their own home.
It was important for TCI that the platform was simple to use from registration, all the way through to post event content. Most of the content was recorded live in order to remain authentic. However, utilising some pre-recorded sessions enabled the event to be less reliant on bandwidth and for TCI to maintain more control over quality.
Over 500+ investors, tuned in live to TCI Annual Investors Day which featured a host of mainstage event broadcasts directly via their office space. We built a branded backdrop and full studio to ensure the highest level of production value.
With the majority of the event being broadcast to the main stage, it was key that production was of the highest quality and integrated seamlessly into a live broadcast. We had a team made up of sound technicians, lighting technicians, graphic engineers, vMix operators, cameramen and project managers all on board to produce the show.
There were 24 main stage sessions and to engage the chat, the entire investment team hosted a live Q&A, with questions beamed directly to their iPads to stick with the theme of a professional approach. This content was further supported by a large number of global speakers contributing to the day.
