Manychat exists to help small businesses grow by simplifying the “marketing stuff.” Their mission is to make marketing more human – giving entrepreneurs the tools to tell their stories, build relationships, and scale as big as their dreams.
But marketing today moves fast. For creators, influencers, and eCommerce brands, Instagram is everything – and keeping up with its constant changes takes community, creativity, and fresh insight.
That’s why Manychat wanted to bring their global audience together for The Instagram Summit – a live, in-person event designed to help social media marketers, content creators, agencies, and certified Manychat partners master Instagram strategy, automation, and audience growth.
The goal was to empower 500 attendees who rely on Instagram as a core driver of business success – those deeply invested in the creator economy and eager to stay ahead of emerging trends.
But just two weeks before doors opened, the unexpected happened: the original venue went into liquidation, without notice two weeks before the event.


The solution
When the unexpected hit, there was no panic – just action. Working side by side with Manychat’s team, emc3 sourced a new venue within 24 hours: the stunning 1 Hotel West Hollywood.
Set against panoramic views of Los Angeles, the venue’s natural, biophilic design reflected the warmth and creativity of the Manychat community. Its open spaces and modern aesthetic allowed us to transform the summit into an environment that felt alive – bright, modern, and full of possibility.
From the moment attendees walked in, the event felt less like a conference and more like a gathering of creators.
The two-day experience featured:
- Keynotes and Panels: Leading voices in social media and digital strategy shared actionable insights on storytelling, Reels, and community growth.
- Conversation Corners: Interactive sessions led by creators and agencies, designed to spark meaningful dialogue.
- Brand Activations: Sponsors brought playful onsite experiences, giveaways, and content stations to life.
- Networking Lounges: Dedicated spaces where attendees could connect, create, and collaborate in real time.
- Afterparty Celebration: A relaxed, high-energy close to the summit – the perfect space for attendees to reflect, connect, and celebrate.
Every touchpoint – from the stage design and branding to the merch and digital integrations – echoed Manychat’s purpose: making marketing simple, social, and human.



The result
What could have been a logistical nightmare became a creative breakthrough. The 1 Hotel setting gave the summit a warm, organic feel that perfectly matched the Manychat brand and community spirit.
Over 500 creators, marketers, and entrepreneurs filled the space, sharing insights, energy, and ideas that continued to ripple across social media long after the event ended.
But the real success was the energy in the room – the sense of belonging and connection that every attendee felt. The summit proved that when creativity, community, and purpose align, even the toughest challenges can lead to something extraordinary.
