G2 wanted to achieve an unbiased, attendee-first event with an open stage design to ensure that all attendees were close to the action. They had a vision that they wanted to run throughout: helping attendees to reach their potential by using software to better connect with their own customers
Creating a conference that didn’t focus on highlighting how fantastic their branding, messaging and content were. But to put the attendee’s best interests at heart and create an event that helped them REACH their potential.
“We needed an experienced hand to guide us on both the event vision and the details. I had worked with emc3 in the past, so I jumped at the opportunity to involve them. They helped us execute on our vision, secure the venue, catering, stage, audio/visual contracts, and more.”— Ryan Bonnici, CMO, G2
Reach 2019 was the first big event hosted by G2 and due to the event’s success, it has now become a part of their annual event calendar. The event was successful in achieving its attendance goal of over 500 attendees and united sales and marketing professionals for a day of fun which included speeches from G2 CEO, Godard Abel, Sprout Social CMO, Jaimie Gilpin, New York Times COO, Meredith Kopit Levien, VP of marketing at Drift, Dave Gerhardt, CEO of Zoom, Eric Yuan, and Neil Patel. G2 were happy with the results, stating on their website that their “first-ever, one-day-only event was a breakout success.” with one executive even going as far as to say that it was “the sexiest conference they’ve ever attended.”
