The challenge

For their annual ‘Rev’ event, Domino Data Lab wanted to create something impactful that would bring together industry thought leaders in the data science and analytics domain. With a focus on thought leadership, the objective was to foster networking opportunities and discussions around the challenges faced by the industry. The event required meticulous coordination with 50+ speakers to ensure seamless communication, logistics, and technical arrangements. The challenge involved managing last-minute requests, evolving the brand, and maximising attendee engagement.

The result

Rev 4 surpassed expectations, achieving its objectives of elevating content and design from the previous year. Attendees provided excellent feedback, praising the impressive lineup of speakers and valuable content. This included industry luminaries from some of the largest enterprises on the planet, such as Cassie Kozyrkov, Chief Decision Scientist at Google, Marco Argenti, Chief Information Officer at Goldman Sachs, and Neil deGrasse Tyson, world-renowned Astrophysicist.

The event showcased efficient registration, flawless run of show, and outstanding keynote management. Attendees particularly appreciated the signage and wow piece created by emc3 — a branded statement piece featuring uplighting and integrated tv screens.

The event’s success positioned Domino Data Lab as a prominent player in the field, helping attendees plot their strategy for navigating the new opportunities and challenges presented by advances in artificial intelligence.

The solution

To meet the client’s needs, emc3 developed an enhanced brand experience, optimised the agenda to maximise networking opportunities, and worked closely with key talent to deliver impactful messages. Our team efficiently handled last-minute asks, including supporting the CEO with a video request and revamping the app to incorporate the client’s logo. We established a streamlined process for overseeing timelines and project management, ensuring smooth logistics for managing the numerous speakers.
