the challenge
Domino Data Lab came to us looking for support with their 2023 Sales Kickoff in the Caribbean. They wanted to celebrate the team and the achievements of the business over the previous year, while creating momentum for the year ahead—and so they sought an exceptional solution that would show appreciation to their sales team members through meaningful connections, team-building and relaxation. Throughout this, they had a few key objectives to address: they wanted to review trends, their Year-on-Year goals, and identify new metrics during half-day meetings and presentations.
the solution
To meet the client’s unique requirements, we provided comprehensive oversight, managing critical path deadlines, budget, and logistics planning with the venue and DMC. Our team conducted a site visit to ensure everything was in order for a seamless execution of the event. Focusing on creating connectivity and community within the remote team, we curated a bespoke agenda that facilitated small meetings, team-building activities, outdoor excursions and more. This included a carefully planned schedule which featured a welcome dinner, sales kick-off, surprise breakfast buffet, poolside cabanas, a delightful a la carte dinner, and a sunset cruise which received rave reviews.

The event was a resounding success, helping to foster a more collaborative and community-focused work culture among the diverse team members from multiple countries. Attendees expressed excitement about continuing this experience in the future, with discussions already underway regarding potential locations and expanding the event to involve more participants in the future.
