the challenge
ManyChat aimed to achieve several objectives with their IG Summit 2023. Building on their previous event’s success, they sought to drive growth and provide a unique virtual experience. The event’s primary focus was Instagram, and it brought in experts to share insights on boosting brand presence and monetising content. Their goal was to engage and entertain the audience while highlighting their chat funnel and content scheduling software.
the solution
Our team worked closely with ManyChat to bring their vision to life. We partnered with Hublio to build the platform, secured a lineup of renowned speakers, such as Steven Bartlett and Sofia Amoruso from Nasty Gal, and took charge of all technical production aspects. This included organising virtual studios for headliners to pre-record their sessions and editing all video content for seamless streaming, both during and after the event. Project management played a crucial role in orchestrating the entire event. The key challenges we addressed included driving growth, which was evident in the remarkable stats—attendance doubled from the previous year, and the event successfully expanded into the Spanish and Portuguese markets, which was a key target for this year’s event.
the result
The ManyChat IG Summit 2023 proved to be a resounding success, with 9,340 tickets sold, 6,323 live attendees, and 36210 unique sessions viewed from 136 countries. Total revenue saw a significant jump, with the 2023 event generating $249.74K compared to $49.35K the previous year. Attendees raved about the event’s highlights, particularly the headlining speakers. However, there were hiccups, including issues with the auto translations and a somewhat clunky platform (which was the chosen platform partner of the client). Despite these challenges, attendees reacted positively.
