The challenge
The Amplify Partner Conference is HP’s most strategic event of the year, and this year it took place in Las Vegas, welcoming over 2,250 partners, media and industry analysts. The key objectives for their flagship event were to deepen attendee connections with HP, provide insights into the company’s future vision and strategic roadmap, and provide an immersive platform to showcase its latest products and service offerings. Additionally, the conference aimed to provoke thoughtful discourse through sessions led by HP’s leadership team, all while prioritising HP’s KPI and sustainability goals throughout the event planning and execution.
The solution
As their trusted events and production partner, we were brought on board to execute an enhanced partner conference that would create a captivating event and leave a lasting impact on the audience. This included handling creative events design and production, planning and executing engaging general sessions and breakouts and crafting memorable branding and installations, such as the Innovation Showcase.
Through the seamless alignment of our production, creative, and strategy teams, we provided a comprehensive service that ensured an extraordinary attendee experience. On arrival, guests checked in at the custom-built registration desk and WOW piece which provided the perfect backdrop for photo opportunities. Next, they made their way to the general session, where an engaging show featuring stunning visuals and an impactful opening video with a live orchestra would play along with curated content to drive home key messages.
Our in-house design team coordinated the brand design across to the breakout sessions where company updates were communicated to attendees and the Innovation Showcase allowed for an interactive experience, serving as the central hub where attendees could engage with products, receive demonstrations and absorb the tranquillity of the Oasis Lounge (used as a calming wellness area).
The result
Our team ensured a focus on attendee experience throughout every facet of the event, focusing on inclusive layouts and formats to enable guests to immerse themselves fully and connect with the HP team. The event’s resounding success was echoed in the exceptional feedback received from attendees and leadership alike, with many hailing it as one of the most memorable and impactful gatherings to date.
Sustainability was a priority throughout, with sustainable initiatives interwoven into various aspects of the event. From ensuring building materials were reused or recycled to donating leftover food. The event worked with organisations such as Food Rescue Alliance, Habitat for Humanity, Treekly and The Just One Project, which rescue untouched leftover food from events and deliver it to food-insecure communities. Working in tandem with the HP team, our Sustainability Consultant helped Amplify to be a carbon-neutral event, and it was great to see the client’s commitment to sustainability as a tangible reality.
