The challenge
Google wanted to bring together partner agencies from the EMEA region for an online, fully digital experience. After a year like no other, they felt it had never been more important to highlight success, recognise innovation and celebrate what could be achieved by working together alongside their partners. They wanted to host an event for everyone in the partner network, with brand new awards, more nominees than ever and an exciting new independent judging panel made up of external industry leaders.
The solution
With an audience scattered across Europe, we wanted to create an immersive experience where the 200+ partners had a chance to experience the magic of a Google event from the safety of their homes and offices.
Broadcasting live from two key locations, we utilised the incredible Google studios and state-of-the-art facilities to offer the highest production values and a fully professional TV-quality broadcast experience. With Google a member of their global pilot program, we were able to do this using the Hopin platform. We utilised their many features to showcase incredible entertainment, interactive experiences, a finalist showcase and opportunities for people to network with fellow partners.
The result
Utilising Google’s studios and production teams we were able to bring their partners together to share their stories and celebrate at one of their most sustainable events to date. The feedback was rated as overwhelmingly positive, with a rating on par with their larger, physical events—with a special commendation for being accessible to all. Over 200 partners attended from 40+ countries, with individuals, teams and office watch parties dialling in live to watch as the incredible winners were awarded. With the physical aspect being brought in through each winner receiving an exclusive winners pack so that they can display their achievements in person.
