A Chance in the World, the film adaptation of speaker, Steve Pemberton’s best-selling book, premiered in more than 1,000 theatres across the US earlier this year. The emc3 Marketing Team were tasked with managing Steve Pemberton’s social media accounts in the run-up to the film. The team created bespoke content for Steve and also provided onsite social media support during the headline premiere in New York.
How We Added Value:
We developed a series of empowering social media posts, to draw the audience in by sharing parts of the backstory behind the film and the life of Steve Pemberton. The posts included quotes from the book, which linked back to Steve’s passion for reading. We took time to fully understand the audience, and apply our knowledge on key times of day to attract the highest level of engagement. With this we managed to increase the level of engagement by 4,198%, page likes by 335% and comments by 90% on Steve’s own personal platforms.
