the challenge

Flash was Drift’s first in-person event since the COVID-19 pandemic that aimed to bring the community back together to learn about their most recent product launches. The client wanted a “Miami” themed event that took place at a hotel venue within a great location and specified their desire to maximise the engagement of the attendees as well as broadcast the event to a virtual audience.

the solution

The conference took place at Miami’s Faena Forum, where our team was involved in the production of the general sessions and breakout sessions whilst managing the venue and accommodation. We worked on numerous project management tasks and supported the client in achieving their goal of creating an engaging atmosphere by utilising branding, managing onsite and offsite parties, and booking the right talent and speakers to create an entertaining experience for attendees.

the result

Drift Flash was a vital moment in allowing people to feel safe in connecting again. Bringing people together for a vibrant and enjoyable event experience for all., they brought together a total audience of 1,500 people, both in-person and virtually. Those in attendance were invited to hear real-world examples from Drift customers and take a deep dive into Drift’s newest products, including the announcement of their Conversation Cloud. The line-up of industry trailblazers who spoke on stage included Amy Jo Martin (CEO of Renegade Global), Chris Koehler (CMO at Box), and Leo Tenenblat (CPO at Drift).
