Anna-Marie has a collective of 15 years-experience across the styling and events industry. She has worked on events across various industry sectors including finance, technology, non-profit, fashion & design and most recently prime-real estate. Having worked on budgets up to £3.2 million, managed teams up to 60 on site and shows with 9000 registered delegates, Anna-Marie has a broad and confident experience of corporate events.
During the on going Covid-19 pandemic Anna- Mare was made redundant, she saw this as an opportunity to help others who had found themselves in the same situation. On the 21 March 2020, started a LinkedIn group that supports event professionals that have been let go, placed out of work, furloughed, fallen ‘through the gap’ and/or had work cancelled during the COVID 19 Lock-down. The group is also open to other event professionals that wish to share, offer skills, advice & training to those in the group that need it most – what is important is the community spirit that has grown and the great opportunity to network.
The group members are from internship & graduate level right up to event directors and business owners. Through dedication & hard work from Anne-Marie & 3 early members, the group has become a safe and supportive space where members feel they can introduce themselves to the community as well as engage, share, develop and up-skill, discuss, and meet new colleagues, friends and events profs. As of now there are over 700 members.
On top of this, during lock-down, Anna-Marie decided to launch her own events company AMTEvents! AMTEvents is part of the AMTGroup, one of two creative companies in corporate & private events specialising in styling and design; AMTEvents & AMTStyling.
AMTEvents is a professional event planning company, based in London & Surrey but that works with clients all across the UK, Europe and beyond globally.
