Best summer party venues

Summer is not far away. Soon, the nights will be longer and the temperature will rise, with lockdown restrictions easing (hopefully) this means you can start planning your summer parties. The UK has some great destinations and we’ve curated a list of some of the top locations that tick all the boxes.

The grove – This is more than a luxury five-star hotel, with 300 acres of Hertfordshire countryside the former home of the Earls of Clarendon now resides as a championship golf resort, award winning spa and an extremely unique venue that is only 18 miles outside of London. As well as golfing and ‘spa-ing’ the venue also offers more activities that range from Segway tours to laser clay pigeon shooting.

Chewton Glen – A quintessentially English country house hotel and spa. What’s not to adore? With some of England’s most stunning countryside and the sea not far. Chewton Glen is a perfect escape. The venue offers activities such as quad biking, archery, power boats, buggy racing, sailing and so much more. It’s a perfect party venue.

Four seasons, Hampshire – In the heart of southern England, this beautiful region offers easy access to the city. 500 acres of land situate a contemporary spa and a range of sport and recreational activities and with a capacity of 260 guests, one big party could be thrown here.

The Drumsheds – The Drumsheds is a spacious warehouse venue for hire in Enfield and is run by the team behind Printworks and Magazine London, specialists in large scale event venues and activations. The venue comprises of 10 acres of outdoor Space and 4 large scale, interlinked warehouses which can be booked together or individually, offering the ultimate industrial Space for both events and filming. With a total indoor capacity of 10,000 and set away from residential areas, events have the potential to run longer, later and louder than anywhere else in London whilst still being central and accessible.

West End on the Thames – The Vessels can carry group sizes from as small as 2 people to a much more ‘party’ like amount of 500. The big open plan decks are fantastic for lounging under the sun drinking cocktails and digging into what ever can be cooked on the on-deck BBQ. All while the guests are treated to the sights of London.

Fulham Beach Club – Just on the Edge of the Thames, the 20m beach is perfect for a summer party. Beach huts, deck chairs and party day beds accommodate your guests and dedicated beach butlers provide the perfect cocktail beverages. Dine at long tables under a wood pergola tied with flowers and food is served from London’s greatest street food vendors.

The Secret River Garden – This secluded party location opened last year. It’s festival vibe near a beautiful secret river creates an extremely unique space perfect for partying. It is only available for a few dates every year and is truly exclusive. An open bonfire can be lit for guests and whilst gathering drinks can be served from the pop-up bar.

The Shard – The shard is a great location for a classier party. The view is astonishing and houses up to 400 guests. It is also available to smaller groups for even more exclusive events. There’s not too much more to say – It’s the shard.

Shoreditch Treehouse – While not being the biggest of venues, at a capacity of 80. This was too funky not to put in this list. If you have a small group and want a cool and unique party. This is for you. It even allows dogs. Surely that’s enough said.

Dinner in the sky – Was the shard’s view not good enough? Try this… strapped into a chair at a table and bar in the sky drinking and eating whilst getting the best view of London possible. If this doesn’t cut it for a great party venue, I’m not sure what will.
